Rick Springfield, né Richard Lewis Springthorpe à Sydney, en Australie en 1949, est un auteur-compositeur-interprète, musicien et acteur australien. Il a commencé sa carrière musicale dans les années 1970 avec le groupe Zoot avant de connaître le succès international en tant qu'artiste solo dans les années 1980 avec des tubes comme "Jessie's Girl". Sa musique mélange rock, pop et synth-pop, influencée par le glam rock des années 1970. Springfield a également joué dans des films et des séries télévisées, notamment la populaire série "Californication".
