Bone Thugs-N-Harmony est un groupe de hip hop américain formé à Cleveland, Ohio, en 1993. Composé de Krayzie Bone, Layzie Bone, Wish Bone et Bizzy Bone, le groupe a atteint la renommée internationale avec son album de début *E 1999 Eternal* (1995), qui a vendu plus de dix millions d'albums dans le monde entier. L'album comprend le single numéro un "Tha Crossroads", un hommage poignant à l'ami et producteur décédé du groupe, Harold "Big H" Smith. Bone Thugs-N-Harmony sont connus pour leur style vocal unique, caractérisé par des flux rapides et des mélodies complexes. Leur son est influencé par le gangsta rap, mais intègre également des éléments de soul et de gospel. Parmi leurs albums les plus importants figurent *The Art of War* (1997) et *BTNHResurrection* (2000). J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
