Dead Prez est un duo de hip-hop politique américain composé de stic.man et M-1. Connu pour son style confrontatif combiné à des paroles socialistes et pan-africaines, le groupe se concentre sur des thèmes tels que la justice sociale, la pédagogie critique, le racisme institutionnel, la police, le capitalisme, l'éducation, les systèmes carcéraux, la religion, l'activisme contre la répression politique et le contrôle des médias par les entreprises, en particulier les maisons de disques hip-hop.
