Outasight, de son vrai nom Richard Andrew, est un auteur-compositeur-interprète, rappeur et producteur de disques américain. Actif depuis 2010, il a gagné en popularité grâce à son style musical qui mélange des éléments de hip hop, R and B et pop. Son morceau le plus célèbre, "The One", a connu un succès international en 2013. Outasight est reconnu pour ses performances énergiques et ses paroles positives qui traitent souvent de thèmes d'amour, d'espoir et d'affirmation de soi. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
