Gli Stray Cats sono un gruppo musicale rockabilly statunitense formatosi a Long Island nel 1979. Il nucleo fondante è costituito da Brian Setzer (voce, chitarra), Slim Jim Phantom (batteria) e Lee Rocker (contrabbasso). Il loro sound, caratterizzato da riff di chitarra energici, ritmi incalzanti e melodie orecchiabili, ha riscosso un enorme successo negli anni '80, rilanciando l'interesse per il rockabilly. Tra i brani più famosi ci sono "Rock This Town", "Stray Cat Strut" e "(She's) Sexy + 17".
