Supergrass è una band rock alternativo britannica formatasi ad Oxford negli anni '90. Il gruppo è composto dai fratelli Gaz e Rob Coombes (rispettivamente voce e chitarra), Danny Goffey (batteria) e Mick Quinn (chitarra). Con un sound energico e orecchiabile, influenzato dal britpop e dalla musica indie, Supergrass ha conquistato rapidamente il pubblico britannico. Il loro album di debutto, *I Should Coco*, pubblicato nel 1995, è diventato un successo commerciale con singoli come "Caught by the Fuzz" e "Alright". La band ha continuato a pubblicare album di successo negli anni successivi, tra cui *In It for the Long Haul* (1997) e *Life on Others* (2002). Il sont 7, ils ont presque tous la vingtaine, ils aiment le post-rock et aussi expérimenter différents sons. Plus qu'un groupe, Black Country est une communauté.
J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
