All Saints are the English girl group whose cool R&B tinged pop sound helped them to achieve popstar status in their native Britain. Comprised of Shaznay Lewis, Melanie Blatt with sisters Nicole and Natalie Appleton All Saints formed in 1996. They released their eponymous debut album in November 2007 to huge commercial success, spinning four top ten hit singles "Never Ever", "Bootie Call", "I Know Where It's At" and "Lady Marmalade". Their second album Saints and Sinners (2000) spawned their two biggest hits "Pure Shores" and "Black Coffee". The single "Pure Shores" was the second best-selling single of 2000 as a result of featuring in the hit film, The Beach, starring Leonardo DiCaprio. This helped propel Saints and Sinners to 3 times platinum status in the UK.
