All Saints sont un groupe féminin britannique formé en 1996. Composé de Shaznay Lewis, Melanie Blatt, Nicole Appleton et Natalie Appleton (sœurs), le groupe a connu une popularité internationale grâce à son son pop influencé par le R and B. Leur album d' estreia éponyme, sorti en 1997, a été un succès commercial énorme, avec quatre singles dans le top dix : "Never Ever", "Bootie Call", "I Know Where It's At" et "Lady Marmalade". Leur deuxième album, *Saints and Sinners* (2000), a produit leurs deux plus grands succès, "Pure Shores" et "Black Coffee". Le single "Pure Shores", présent dans la bande originale du film *The Beach* avec Leonardo DiCaprio, est devenu le deuxième single le plus vendu de 2000. Ce succès a conduit à une certification triple platine pour *Saints and Sinners* au Royaume-Uni.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
Le film très critiqué «Musique» de Sia qui voit son début en tant que réalisatrice vient d'être nominé comme meilleur film au Golden Globe 2021. L'actrice principale Kate Hudson a été nominée dans la catégorie Meilleure actrice.
