Broken Hope è una band americana di death metal thrash formatasi nel 1988 a Chicago, Illinois. Considerati uno dei pionieri del genere brutal death metal, hanno pubblicato un'ampia discografia di album e EP caratterizzati da sonorità aggressive, ritmi veloci e testi spesso macabri. Tra i loro album più noti figurano *The Bowels of Repugnance* (1993), *Loathing* (1995) e *Repulsive Conception* (1997). La band ha collaborato con artisti come Cannibal Corpse e Morbid Angel, contribuendo a definire l'evoluzione del death metal negli anni '90. Broken Hope è ancora attiva oggi, continuando a registrare musica e esibirsi dal vivo.
