Nightmare è una band francese di power metal originaria di Grenoble. Influenzati dal fenomeno New Wave of British Heavy Metal degli anni '80, hanno iniziato la loro carriera suonando heavy metal classico, che in seguito si è evoluto verso il power metal con influenze death e thrash.
