38 Special è un gruppo musicale statunitense di Southern Rock formatosi a Jacksonville, in Florida, nel 1975 da Donnie Van Zant, fratello minore del celebre Lynyrd Skynyrd Ronnie Van Zant. Il nome deriva dal calibro di pistola .38 Special, simbolo della cultura americana e del genere musicale che incarnano. Il gruppo ha raggiunto il successo negli anni '80 con brani come "Hold On Loosely", "Caught Up in You" e "Rockin' into the Night". La loro musica è caratterizzata da riff di chitarra potenti, melodie orecchiabili e testi spesso incentrati su temi di amore, perdita e libertà. 38 Special ha pubblicato oltre dieci album in studio, vendendo milioni di copie in tutto il mondo. Tra i loro album più importanti ricordiamo "Wild and Wonderful" (1979) e "Rockin' into the Night" (1981).

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
