Czarface est un supergroupe américain de hip-hop formé en 2013 par le duo underground 7L and Esoteric (composé de 7L, rappeur et producteur, et Esoteric, rappeur et producteur) et le membre du Wu-Tang Clan Inspectah Deck. Le nom du groupe est un hommage à Darth Vader, avec qui ils partagent une ressemblance dans leur style musical sombre et agressif. Czarface a sorti plusieurs albums à succès, dont "Czarface Meets Metal Face" (2016), qui a vu la collaboration avec l'artiste de métal Dan the Automator, et "Czarface and MF DOOM: Super What?" (2020), un projet collaboratif avec le légendaire rappeur MF DOOM. Le groupe est connu pour ses rimes complexes, ses rythmes sombres et ses récits narratifs qui explorent souvent des thèmes de justice sociale, de politique et de philosophie. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
