Ice Cube, de son vrai nom O'Shea Jackson Sr., est un rappeur, acteur et producteur de disques américain né à Los Angeles en 1969. Il a commencé sa carrière musicale dans les années 1980 en tant que membre du groupe N.W.A., connu pour son rap brut et politiquement engagé qui reflétait les réalités sociales difficiles des communautés afro-américaines de Los Angeles. Après la dissolution du groupe, Ice Cube s'est lancé dans une carrière solo très réussie, publiant des albums comme "AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted" (1990) et "Death Certificate" (1991), qui ont consolidé sa position comme l'un des rappeurs les plus influents de l'histoire. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
Le film très critiqué «Musique» de Sia qui voit son début en tant que réalisatrice vient d'être nominé comme meilleur film au Golden Globe 2021. L'actrice principale Kate Hudson a été nominée dans la catégorie Meilleure actrice.
