Nazareth è un gruppo rock scozzese formatosi a Dunfermline nel 1969 dalle ceneri della band semi-professionale The Shadettes. Il gruppo, composto da Dan McCafferty (voce), Manny Charlton (chitarra), Pete Agnew (basso) e Darrell Sweet (batteria), ha raggiunto il successo dopo essersi trasferito a Londra e aver firmato un contratto discografico con Pegasus Records. Il loro album di debutto omonimo è uscito nel 1971, seguito da *Exercises* nel 1972. È stato il terzo album, *Razamanaz*, pubblicato all'inizio del 1973, a portare i primi singoli in classifica, "Broken Down Angel" e "Bad Bad Boy", entrambi entrati nella Top Ten britannica. Nazareth ha continuato a pubblicare musica di successo negli anni '70 e '80, con album come *Loud 'n' Proud* (1973) e *Hair of the Dog* (1975). Il loro stile musicale è caratterizzato da un mix di hard rock, blues e influenze progressive. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
