Insomnium è una band finlandese di melodic death metal proveniente da Joensuu. Fondata nel 1997, il gruppo si distingue per l'influenza del doom metal e per testi che esplorano temi come dolore, morte, perdita e lutto. La musica di Insomnium incorpora anche elementi di folk nordico/norreno e musica sinfonica, creando un sound epico e malinconico. Il nome "Insomnium", che significa "incubo" in latino, richiama anche una categoria di visioni religiose presenti nelle culture greca, romana e medievale cristiana. Tra i brani più rappresentativi si ricordano "While Days Turn Into Years", "The Mourning Star" e "Ephemeral". L'album di debutto, "Within The Shadows", risale al 2000.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
