Uriah Heep è un gruppo rock inglese formatosi nel 1969 dal produttore Gerry Bron. Il nucleo originale comprendeva il vocalist David Byron, il multi-instrumentalista Ken Hensley, i chitarristi Mick Box e Paul Newton, e il batterista Nigel Olsson. Nel corso della loro carriera, la formazione ha subito diverse variazioni, così come lo stile musicale, che spazia dal progressive rock al hard rock, con influenze jazz. Considerati precursori del progressive metal, Uriah Heep hanno raggiunto un grande successo negli anni '70 con album come *Demons and Wizards* (1972) e *The Magician's Birthday* (1972). Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano "Easy Livin'", "July Morning", "Lady in Black" e "Look at Yourself". Mick Box è l'unico membro originale ancora presente nel gruppo.
