Transplants est un groupe américain de rap rock formé à Los Angeles en 1999. Le groupe est composé de membres provenant de différents milieux musicaux, notamment le rappeur Travis Barker des Blink-182 et le chanteur/bassiste Rob Aston. Leur musique fusionne les sonorités punk rock avec des éléments hip hop, créant un son énergique et agressif qui a conquis une base de fans dévouée. Transplants a sorti trois albums studio : "Transplants" (2002), "Sex and Violence" (2005) et "The Greatest Hits" (2016). J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
