Lyle Pearce Lovett est un musicien, auteur-compositeur-interprète, acteur et producteur de disques américain né à Klein, au Texas, le 1er novembre 1960. Connu pour sa musique country-folk qui fusionne des éléments de jazz, blues et western swing, Lovett a sorti plus de dix albums studio, remportant de nombreux prix dont un Grammy Award en 1994 pour son album "The Road to Austin".
