Car Seat Headrest è un gruppo musicale indie rock statunitense formatosi nel 2010. Il progetto musicale è nato dall'idea di Will Toledo, che ha iniziato pubblicando musica online sotto il nome di Car Seat Headrest. Nel corso degli anni, la formazione si è evoluta fino a diventare un gruppo completo con altri musicisti. La band è originaria della Virginia ma si è poi trasferita a Seattle (Washington). Il loro sound è caratterizzato da melodie indie rock introspettive e testi spesso autobiografici che esplorano temi come l'adolescenza, la solitudine e la ricerca di identità. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano "Nervous Young Inhumans", "Fill in the Blank" e "Beach Life-In Death".
