Demis Roussos (Artemios Ventouris-Roussos; Alessandria d'Egitto, 15 giugno 1946 – Atene, 25 gennaio 2015) è stato un cantante e bassista greco. Figlio di genitori greci emigrati in Egitto, Demis iniziò la sua carriera musicale negli anni '60 come membro del gruppo Aphrodite's Child, con il quale ottenne successo internazionale grazie al concept album *It's Five O'Clock*. Dopo lo scioglimento del gruppo nel 1972, Roussos intraprese una carriera da solista, raggiungendo fama mondiale con brani come *My Sweet Lord*, *Forever and Ever* e *Goodbye My Love*. La sua voce calda e melodiosa, unita a testi romantici e arrangiamenti orchestrali, lo resero uno degli artisti più popolari del periodo. Roussos ha venduto oltre 60 milioni di dischi in tutto il mondo, lasciando un'impronta indelebile nella musica pop internazionale.
