Sean John Combs, mieux connu sous les noms Puff Daddy, Diddy ou simplement Diddy, est un rappeur, producteur de disques et entrepreneur américain né à New York en 1970. Il a commencé sa carrière dans les années 1990 comme A and R pour Uptown Records avant de fonder son propre label discographique, Bad Boy Records, en 1993. Avec Bad Boy, Combs a lancé des artistes à succès tels que The Notorious B.I.G., Faith Evans et Mase. Son premier album studio, "No Way Out", est sorti en 1997 et a atteint la première place du classement Billboard 200, vendant plus de 10 millions d'exemplaires aux États-Unis. Diddy est considéré comme l'un des pionniers du hip hop commercial des années 1990, connu pour sa capacité à combiner la musique rap avec des éléments pop et R and B. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
Le film très critiqué «Musique» de Sia qui voit son début en tant que réalisatrice vient d'être nominé comme meilleur film au Golden Globe 2021. L'actrice principale Kate Hudson a été nominée dans la catégorie Meilleure actrice.
