Terry Allen est un artiste américain né en 1947, connu pour sa musique country outlaw et son art conceptuel. Il commence sa carrière comme peintre dans les années 1960, collaborant avec des artistes comme Jimmie Dale Gilmore et Townes Van Zandt. En 1972, il sort son premier album, "Lubbock (On Everything)", un travail qui mélange le country, le folk et le rock, influencé par la culture du Texas rural. Allen est considéré comme l'un des pionniers du country outlaw, avec des paroles souvent introspectives et narratives qui explorent des thèmes tels que la solitude, l'amour perdu et la vie dans l'ouest américain. Parmi ses albums les plus importants figurent "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance" (1975) et "Amarillo Highway" (1980). J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
Le film très critiqué «Musique» de Sia qui voit son début en tant que réalisatrice vient d'être nominé comme meilleur film au Golden Globe 2021. L'actrice principale Kate Hudson a été nominée dans la catégorie Meilleure actrice.
