Enter Shikari est un groupe anglais de post-hardcore formé à St Albans, Hertfordshire en 2003. Le nom du groupe vient d'un bateau appartenant à un parent de l'un des membres et d'un personnage dans une pièce écrite par Roughton "Rou" Reynolds avant la formation du groupe, les deux s'appelant Shikari. Shikari signifie également 'Chasseur' en marathi, persan, hindi, népalais, ourdou, pendjabi et bengali. Le groupe se caractérise par un son énergique et innovant qui fusionne des éléments de post-hardcore, d'électronique, de metalcore et de rock progressif. Leurs paroles traitent souvent de thèmes sociaux, politiques et personnels, avec une forte composante narrative. Parmi les chansons les plus représentatives figurent "Gandhi", "Ssswith", "The Last Garrison" et "Constellations". L'album de début "Take to the Skies" (2007) a connu un grand succès critique et commercial, consolidant la position du groupe dans le paysage musical alternatif.

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
