Le Dixie Chicks sono un gruppo musicale country statunitense formatosi in Texas nel 1989. Il trio è composto da Natalie Maines (voce), Emily Strayer (banjo, chitarra) e Martie Maguire (fiddle, mandolino). Conosciute inizialmente per il loro sound tradizionale country, le Dixie Chicks hanno conquistato un pubblico internazionale con album come "Wide Open Spaces" (1998) e "Fly" (2000), che hanno venduto milioni di copie in tutto il mondo. Il loro successo è stato segnato da numerosi premi Grammy, tra cui cinque per la categoria "Best Country Album".
