Tom Waits (nato Thomas Alan Waits il 7 dicembre 1949) è un cantautore, musicista e attore statunitense considerato uno dei più influenti artisti del panorama musicale contemporaneo. Conosciuto per la sua voce roca e inimitabile, le sue performance teatrali e le sue canzoni caratterizzate da atmosfere dark e surreali, Waits ha attraversato diverse fasi musicali, dal blues al jazz, passando per il rock sperimentale e l'avant-garde. La sua carriera musicale inizia negli anni '60 con la formazione di gruppi come The Tom Waits Band e poi come musicista solista. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
