Badly Drawn Boy è lo pseudonimo di Damon Michael Gough, cantautore e musicista britannico nato a Manchester nel 1974. Gough ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale negli anni '90 con un approccio indie folk caratterizzato da melodie malinconiche e testi introspettivi. Il suo album di debutto, *The Hour of Bewilderbeast*, pubblicato nel 2000, ha riscosso un grande successo critico e commerciale, grazie a brani come "You Were Right" e "Something to Talk About". L'album ha contribuito a definire il sound indie folk degli anni 2000. Gough è noto per la sua scrittura poetica e le sue performance dal vivo coinvolgenti. Ha collaborato con artisti come The Divine Comedy e Elbow, e ha composto colonne sonore per film e programmi televisivi.
