Muse è un gruppo musicale britannico formatosi a Teignmouth, nel Devon, all'inizio degli anni '90. Il trio originale era composto da Matthew Bellamy (voce, chitarra, tastiere), Chris Wolstenholme (basso, tastiere, voce) e Dominic Howard (batteria, percussioni). Dopo aver frequentato lo stesso college, i tre hanno iniziato a suonare insieme, dando vita ad un sound caratterizzato da una potente combinazione di rock alternativo, progressive rock e elementi elettronici. Muse ha raggiunto rapidamente il successo internazionale con album come "Origin of Symmetry" (2001) e "Absolution" (2003), consolidando la propria posizione tra le band più influenti del panorama musicale contemporaneo. I loro concerti sono noti per l'energia esplosiva, gli effetti speciali spettacolari e la presenza scenica di Bellamy.
