Protest the Hero è una band canadese di progressive metal/mathcore proveniente da Whitby, Ontario. Formatisi nel 1999, i membri hanno mantenuto la stessa formazione sin dagli inizi. Inizialmente chiamati Happy Go Lucky, hanno cambiato nome prima dell'uscita del loro primo EP, *A Calculated Use of Sound*, seguito dall'album di debutto completo, *Kezia*, pubblicato dall'etichetta indipendente Underground Operations. Il 23 gennaio 2006, la band ha firmato ufficialmente con Vagrant Records per il rilascio statunitense di *Kezia*, uscito negli Stati Uniti il 4 aprile 2006. Il loro secondo album in studio, *Fortress*, è stato ufficialmente pubblicato da Underground Operations in Canada e da Vagrant Records in tutto il mondo il 29 gennaio 2008. Il sont 7, ils ont presque tous la vingtaine, ils aiment le post-rock et aussi expérimenter différents sons. Plus qu'un groupe, Black Country est une communauté.
J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
Le film très critiqué «Musique» de Sia qui voit son début en tant que réalisatrice vient d'être nominé comme meilleur film au Golden Globe 2021. L'actrice principale Kate Hudson a été nominée dans la catégorie Meilleure actrice.
