Dr. Demento, pseudonimo di Barry Eugen Hansen (nato il 19 aprile 1942), è un celebre disc jockey e musicologo statunitense noto per la sua trasmissione radiofonica "The Dr. Demento Show". Iniziata nel 1974, la trasmissione ha raggiunto una vasta popolarità negli Stati Uniti e in Canada, diventando un punto di riferimento per l'underground musicale e la musica comica.
