Evergrey est un groupe de power metal progressif originaire de Gothenburg, en Suède. Fondé en 1995, ils ont sorti leur premier album *The Dark Discovery* en 1998. Parmi leurs albums les plus notables figurent *In Search of Truth* (2001), *Recreation Day* (2003) et *Torn* (2008). Le son d'Evergrey se caractérise par des mélodies accrocheuses, des riffs de heavy metal et une touche progressive qui se manifeste dans les structures complexes des chansons. Le chanteur Tom S. Englund est connu pour sa voix puissante et polyvalente, capable de passer des tons mélodiques aux hurlements gutturaux avec aisance.
