John Hiatt è un cantautore e chitarrista statunitense nato il 20 agosto 1952 ad Indianapolis, Indiana. Conosciuto per la sua scrittura incisiva e melodie memorabili, Hiatt ha esplorato una vasta gamma di generi musicali, dal rock al blues, passando per il country e la musica folk. La sua carriera, iniziata negli anni '70, è caratterizzata da un'elevata qualità artistica e da un costante impegno nella ricerca musicale.
