Joni Mitchell, pseudonimo di Roberta Joan Anderson, è una cantautrice e pittrice canadese nata a Fort Macleod, Alberta, nel 1943. Considerata una delle più influenti artiste della musica folk-rock degli anni '60 e '70, Mitchell ha rivoluzionato il panorama musicale con la sua poesia introspettiva, le melodie innovative e la voce distintiva.
