Trivium è una band americana di metalcore formatasi a Orlando, Florida nel 2000. Il loro debutto, l'album *Ember to Inferno*, risale al 2003 e ha segnato l'inizio della loro ascesa. Il successo è arrivato con il secondo album, *Ascendancy* (2005), la cui traccia "Washing Away Me in the Tides" è stata inclusa nella colonna sonora del film *Underworld: Evolution* nel 2006. Nel 2006, l'album *The Crusade* ha raggiunto il successo commerciale, piazzandosi nelle classifiche sia americane che britanniche e ottenendo la certificazione d'argento nel Regno Unito dopo aver venduto 60.000 copie in un solo giorno. Questo album ha però suscitato controversie tra i fan, accusando la band di aver abbandonato il sound metalcore a favore di sonorità thrash metal o alternative metal più mainstream, simili a quelle dei Metallica. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
