The Chieftains sono un gruppo musicale irlandese fondato nel 1962 a Dublino. Considerati pionieri nella diffusione della musica tradizionale irlandese in tutto il mondo, hanno pubblicato oltre 40 album durante la loro lunga carriera di oltre 40 anni. Il loro sound è caratterizzato da strumenti tradizionali come flauto, violino, bodhrán e fiddle, combinati con influenze folk e jazz.
