Sparks the Rescue sono una band alternative rock americana proveniente da Portland, nel Maine. La formazione è avvenuta quando membri di tre gruppi scolastici, Pozer, Short of April e Two Girls Later, si sono uniti. Il loro primo EP, *Stumbling Skyward*, è stato pubblicato indipendentemente nel 2005 con McAllister e O'Connell che condividevano i cantanti principali. Nel 2006 la band ha rilasciato l'EP *Hey, Mr. Allure*, che ha visto l'aggiunta del cantante principale Alex Roy. Il 6 febbraio 2007 Sparks the Rescue hanno pubblicato il loro terzo EP, *The Secrets We Can't Keep*, dopo aver firmato con Double Blind Music. Questo rilascio ha segnato l'uscita del tastierista. STR ha ufficialmente rilasciato il suo album di debutto completo, *Eyes to the Sun*, il 5 maggio 2009 su Fearless Records (l'album era stato precedentemente pubblicato il 7 ottobre 2008 su Double Blind Music). J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
