The Jezabels sono un quartetto indie rock australiano formatosi a Sydney negli anni 2000. Il gruppo è composto da Hayley Mary (voce), Heather Shannon (tastiera), Nik Kaloper (batteria) e Sam Lockwood (chitarra). La loro musica, definita da alcuni come "intesindie", mescola elementi di rock alternativo, pop rock e synth-pop con un'attenzione particolare alle melodie orecchiabili e ai testi introspettivi. \n\nDopo aver pubblicato diversi EP indipendenti, The Jezabels hanno ottenuto il successo internazionale nel 2014 con l'album "The Brink", che ha raggiunto la top ten delle classifiche australiane e britanniche. J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
