Avatar è un gruppo musicale heavy metal rumeno formatosi a Cluj-Napoca nel 2004. Conosciuti per il loro sound potente e melodico, caratterizzato da influenze progressive e symphonic metal, hanno guadagnato popolarità internazionale grazie ai loro album di successo come "Schizogenesis" (2013) e "The King" (2016). Il gruppo è composto da Andrei 'Andrei' ?aran (voce), Nicolae 'Nico' Ionescu (chitarra), Vlad 'Vlad' Dumitrescu (basso) e Cristian 'Cristi' Chiriac (batteria). Avatar ha collaborato con artisti come Soilwork e Amon Amarth, partecipando a festival di fama mondiale come il Wacken Open Air.
