Belle and Sebastian è un gruppo musicale indie pop britannico formatosi a Glasgow nel 1996. Il nucleo del gruppo è composto da Stuart Murdoch (voce, chitarra) e Isobel Campbell (violoncello, voce). Il loro sound è caratterizzato da melodie orecchiabili, testi poetici e arrangiamenti orchestrali che evocano un'atmosfera nostalgica e malinconica. Belle and Sebastian hanno pubblicato dieci album in studio, tra cui il debutto "If You're Feeling Sinister" (1996), considerato un classico dell'indie pop. Altri album importanti sono "The Boy with the Arab Strap" (2000) e "Dear Catastrophe Waitress" (2003). Il gruppo è noto per le sue esibizioni dal vivo coinvolgenti e per la sua fedele base di fan.
