Frank Black, pseudonimo di Charles Michael Kittridge Thompson IV, è un cantautore e chitarrista statunitense nato nel 1965. Noto per il suo lavoro con i Pixies negli anni '80 e '90, Frank Black ha contribuito a definire l'indie rock con la sua musica caratterizzata da cambiamenti di ritmo repentini, testi surreali e un sound potente. Dopo lo scioglimento dei Pixies nel 1993, ha intrapreso una carriera solista di successo, pubblicando album come "Frank Black and the Catholics" (1995) e "Teenager of the Year" (1998). Il suo stile musicale si è evoluto verso un sound più folk-rock e sperimentale. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano "Where Is My Mind?", "Debaser" e "Monkey Gone to Heaven".

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
