Unknown Mortal Orchestra è un progetto musicale indie rock capitanato da Ruban Nielson, originario di Auckland, Nuova Zelanda. Attivo dal 2010, il gruppo ha conquistato l'attenzione del pubblico con la sua musica psichedelica e avvolgente, caratterizzata da atmosfere vintage e influenze funk e soul. Nielson, che si occupa anche della produzione, scrittura e registrazione dei brani, è noto per le sue melodie orecchiabili e testi introspettivi.
