Ministry est un groupe américain de metal industriel formé à Chicago en 1981. Considérés comme des pionniers du genre, ils ont profondément influencé la scène musicale alternative des années 90. Leur son caractéristique combine des éléments de heavy metal, d'électronique industrielle et de noise rock, créant une atmosphère sombre et agressive. Le leader Al Jourgensen est connu pour ses performances théâtrales et ses paroles souvent provocatrices qui abordent des thèmes sociaux et politiques. Parmi leurs chansons les plus représentatives figurent "Jesus Built My Hotrod", "N.W.O.", "Stigmata" et "Just One Fix".
