Tracey Thorn è una cantautrice e musicista britannica, nota soprattutto per essere metà del duo Everything But the Girl. Nata a Londra nel 1962, ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale negli anni '80 con il gruppo The Bluebells. Nel 1982 ha formato Everything But the Girl con Ben Watt, raggiungendo un grande successo internazionale con album come "Walking Wounded" (1996) e "Amplified Heart" (1994). Oltre al lavoro con Everything But the Girl, Thorn ha pubblicato diversi album da solista di grande apprezzamento critico, tra cui "A Distant Shore" (2007) e "Record" (2014). La sua musica è caratterizzata da melodie avvolgenti, testi introspettivi e un'atmosfera intima. Tra i suoi brani più noti figurano "Missing", "Driving", e "Each and Every One".
