Celldweller est un projet musical de rock électronique basé à Detroit, Michigan, créé par le multi-instrumentiste Klayton. Klayton est connu pour avoir été le leader et compositeur de groupes tels que Circle of Dust, Argyle Park et Angeldust (avec Criss Angel), entre autres. La musique de Celldweller est polyvalente, souvent étiquetée comme rock électronique ou décrite comme un mélange de rock et de trance. Les chansons de Celldweller sont fréquemment apparues dans des films, des bandes-annonces, des émissions de télévision et des jeux vidéo. Parmi leurs morceaux les plus représentatifs, on peut citer "Welcome oblivion", "The Best of Me" et "Switchblade".

J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
