Jamiroquai è una band inglese di funk-pop formata nel 1992 da Jay Kay. Considerati un gruppo con un sound unico e influenzato dal jazz, funk e soul, Jamiroquai ha raggiunto grande successo internazionale negli anni '90 e 2000. Il loro stile musicale è caratterizzato da ritmi incalzanti, linee melodiche orecchiabili e testi spesso ironici o filosofici. Jay Kay, noto per i suoi cappelli eccentrici e la sua presenza scenica carismatica, è l'unico membro permanente del gruppo, sebbene nel corso degli anni abbiano collaborato con numerosi musicisti. Tra i brani più famosi di Jamiroquai figurano "Virtual Insanity", "Canned Heat" e "Cosmic Girl". L'album di debutto "Emergency on Planet Earth" (1993) ha segnato l'inizio della loro ascesa al successo, seguito da altri album di grande successo come "The Return of the Space Cowboy" (1994), "Travelling Without Moving" (1996) e "Synkronized" (1999).

Avec 7 albums à leur actif, le groupe est une source d'inspiration et de créativité au niveau mondial, au cours de ces 20 années il n'a cessé d'influencer le paysage musical et de créer des tendances.

Il sont 7, ils ont presque tous la vingtaine, ils aiment le post-rock et aussi expérimenter différents sons. Plus qu'un groupe, Black Country est une communauté.
J'ai l'impression qu'avant d'aborder le sujet traité dans cet article je dois faire une prémisse: le reggaeton n'est pas vraiment mon genre préféré, il se réfugie dans un rythme très banal avec des textes que 99% du temps décrivent la femme comme un objet disponible à l'homme macho.
