The Knife sono stati un duo musicale svedese composto dai fratelli Olof e Karin Dreijer, originari di Stoccolma. Attivi dal 1999 al 2014, hanno contribuito in modo significativo alla scena elettropop internazionale con un sound innovativo che fonde elementi elettronici, pop, industrial e noise. Il loro lavoro è caratterizzato da testi spesso introspettivi e sperimentali, esplorando temi come l'identità, la sessualità e la società moderna.
