Dokken è una band heavy metal americana formatasi nel 1976, diventando uno dei gruppi simbolo del hair metal degli anni '80. La formazione originale comprendeva Don Dokken (voce), George Lynch (chitarra), Juan Croucier (basso) e Mick Brown (batteria). Dokken e Brown rimangono i membri fondatori ancora oggi. Il gruppo ha raggiunto il successo internazionale con album come *Breakin' the Chains* (1984) e *Tooth and Nail* (1985), caratterizzati da riff di chitarra aggressivi, melodie orecchiabili e testi che esploravano temi di amore, perdita e lotta interiore.
