Scribe est un rappeur néo-zélandais d'origine maorie, actif depuis 2001. Connu pour son style introspectif et ses rimes complexes, Scribe a gagné en popularité avec son album de début *Rhyme Book* (2003), qui comprend les succès *Say It Again* et *The Crusader*. Son album suivant, *Scrapbook of Contemplation*, a consolidé son statut d'artiste underground respecté. Scribe est considéré comme l'un des rappeurs les plus influents de Nouvelle-Zélande, connu pour sa maîtrise technique et les thèmes sociaux abordés dans ses chansons.
