The Faint sono una band americana di dance-punk e new wave originaria di Omaha, Nebraska. Formatisi nel 1995, il gruppo è noto per la sua musica elettronica energica, influenzata dal post-punk e dalla synthpop degli anni '80. Il loro sound caratteristico combina riff di chitarra taglienti con linee melodiche sintetizzate e testi spesso ironici e sarcastici. Tra i brani più rappresentativi figurano "Agenda Suicide", "The Conductor" e "Salt the Earth". The Faint hanno pubblicato diversi album, tra cui "Blank Wave Arcade" (2001) e "Wet From Birth" (2004), che hanno riscosso un discreto successo di critica e pubblico.
