Wolfgang Voigt è un musicista e produttore tedesco, noto soprattutto per il suo lavoro come Tal. Nato nel 1965 a Colonia, ha iniziato la sua carriera musicale negli anni '80 con progetti sperimentali di musica elettronica. Nel 1994 ha fondato il progetto Tal, che ha portato a una serie di album e EP di successo ambient techno. Il suo stile è caratterizzato da atmosfere ipnotiche, melodie evocatrici e ritmi pulsanti. Tra i suoi brani più noti figurano "The Sun", "A New Day" e "The Light". Voigt ha collaborato con numerosi artisti, tra cui Boards of Canada e Aphex Twin.
