Mervyn Spence est un musicien d'Irlande du Nord, connu pour son travail comme chanteur et bassiste dans des groupes à succès tels que Trapeze et Wishbone Ash. Sous le pseudonyme O'Ryan, il a sorti deux albums studio caractérisés par des sonorités AOR (Adult Oriented Rock). Après ces sorties en solo, Spence a rejoint le groupe suisse Face Face. Bien qu'il n'ait pas atteint la renommée d'autres artistes portant le même nom, sa carrière musicale a été significative dans le paysage rock britannique des années 70 et 80.
